Almeda Fulwood Rudy (8-27-13) service 8-28-13

Almeda Fulwood Rudy departed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, 3 days. She was born in Memphis, on Oct. 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Max and Alice Hewitt Fulwood. On May 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald Rudy, who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2012.

She had lived in Hardin County since 1973 and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, canning, and she was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rudy is survived by her daughters, Ramona Wilbanks of Hendersonville, Tenn., Wendy Carter of Collierville, Tenn., Sonya Hopson and Tonya Gunn both of Savannah; grandchildren, Matt Wilbanks, Mason Wilbanks, Kara Carter, Seth Godwin, Lee Hopson, Ashton Carter, Grayson Carter, and Olivia Hopson; sister, Kaye Dewberry of Olive Branch, Miss.; and brother, Randall Fulwood of Byhalia, Miss.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Billy Fulwood.

Private Services were held on Wednesday, August 28, at Clear Creek Cemetery in Selmer, Tenn. with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Clear Creek Cemetery at Selmer, Tenn.
