Amy Benson Amy Benson, 32, of Savannah, died Saturday, Dec. 11. She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of Jessie and Judy Cossey Williams. She was united in marriage to Shane Benson, who survives. Mrs. Benson was a member of the Hyde’s Chapel Church of Christ in Cypress Inn, Tenn. Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Walnut Grove Church of Christ with David Dowdy, Nolan Burns officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. In addition to her husband Shane, she is survived by a daughter, Jillian Benson of Savannah; a son, William Benson of Savannah; her parents, Jessie and Judy Williams; a sister, Jordan Williams of Savannah; two brothers, Brandon Williams of Lexington, Tenn. and Charles "Bud" Williams of Savannah.
