Angela Carr (12-28-15) service 12-30-15

Angela Kay Carr departed this life on Monday, Dec. 28, at the age of 52 years and 1 month.  She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of Lonnie and Bonnie Rich Godwin.  On Dec. 16, 1989, she was united in marriage to Jerry Carr, who survives.
Angela worked at the First Assembly of God as a children’s minister and was a member of Woodmen Life. She graduated magna cum laude from Liberty University. She loved writing, song writing, drawing and teaching.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jerry Carr of Savannah; children, Joseph Matthew Carr, Jordan Caleb Carr, Jalen Sean Carr and Austin Ryan Carr, all of Savannah; parents, Lonnie and Bonnie Godwin of Savannah; sister, Kristi Armstrong of Savannah; and brother, Patrick Godwin of Savannah.
Angela was preceded in death by a sister, Lora Doreen Godwin.
Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jerry Milliken and Patrick Godwin officiating. Burial follow ed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
