Ann Morrow

Ann T. Morrow, 79, of Savannah, died Thursday, March 8.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Lon and Ruth Russell Talley. She was united in marriage to Winford Morrow, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Morrow was the owner of The Furniture Barn, an antique and novelty sales business. She had also owned a grocery store, auction house and was an independent property developer. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was the chairman of the Board of Directors at the Jack Gean Shelter.

Services were held on Saturday, March 10, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah with H.H. Hurst, Grady Wolfe, and Derek Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.

She is survived by two sons, Tony Morrow of Tupelo, Miss., James Gary Morrow of Savannah; five grandchildren; a sister, Grace Taylor of Savannah; a brother, Frank Talley of Savannah.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Paul Morrow; three brothers, Carl, Lon and Larry Jack Talley.
