Anna L. Blackwelder, 89, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Feb. 28.
She was born in Savannah, daughter to the late Edgar and Maxine Harville Phillips. She was united in marriage to Vaughn Blackwelder, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Blackwelder was a member of Church of Christ and Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed in the retail industry as a sales person.
She is survived by her children, Linda Wood of Des Moines, Iowa and Vicki Scantlin of Rockford, Illinois; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild.
Services were held Friday, March 6, in the Shackelford Chapel with Chuck Morris officiating. Burial followed at New Harmony Cemetery.
