Anna Greer (4-3-12) service 4-5-12

Anna Lee Greer, 92, of Michie, died Tuesday, April 3, in Michie.

She was born in Pickwick, the daughter of the late James and Mae Culver South. She was united in marriage to C.D. "Mudcat" Greer, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Greer was co-owner of Greer Egg Farm from 1951 until 1982. She was an active member of the Acton Church of Christ in Michie.

Services were held on Thursday, April 5, at Acton Church of Christ in Michie with Joe Story officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery at Michie.

She is survived by a daughter, Martice Rowlett of Hernando, Miss.; two sons, Joe and Don Greer, both of Michie; a sister, Opal S. Fooshee of Corinth, Miss.; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Wilma Faye Adams, Evelyn Glover, Ruby Johnson; three brothers, James, Hurley and Hubert South.
