Arthur Brumlow

Arthur Brumlow, 81, of Morris Chapel, died Tuesday, Oct. 23.

He was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., the son of the late John Wesley and Viola Wilson Brumlow. He was united in marriage to Helen Snyder, who survives.

Mr. Brumlow served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was a farmer and was a member of Crump First Pentecostal Church.

Services were held on Friday, Oct. 26, at Crump First Pentecostal Church with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed in the Crump Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Helen of Morris Chapel, he is survived by one daughter, Patricia Shelby of Adamsville; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, Wesley Brumlow of Chattanooga; and four sisters, Nina Gentry, Josephine Goins and Barbara Goins, all of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Clorina Jenkins of Ooltewah, Tenn.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Isaac Brumlow; and five sisters, Nell Barfield, Elizabeth Arwood, Bonnie Holdaway, Juanita Huckabee and Inez Brumlow.
