Arthur Allison Hinson of Bidwell, Ohio, was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Bidwell, Ohio, the son of the late Glenn and Edith Hinson.  He was united in marriage to Gloria Diane Hedwig Lydia Geyer Hinson on Nov. 23, 1971.  He departed this life and went to sleep in Jesus at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
He resided at Harbert Hills Academy Nursing Home since Nov. 17, 2011.  Arthur will be missed by all of his lovely caregiving friends.
Mr. Arthur Hinson served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked as an assembly line inspector at GM Fisher Body in Columbus, Ohio. After retirement, he and his beautiful wife worked six years as missionary workers at Wildwood Lifestyle Center in Wildwood, Georgia.
Mr. Arthur Hinson was baptized and joined Columbus Ohio Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 1963. Arthur graciously served the Lord for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Hinson of Savannah; a sister and brother-in-law, Lou and Alvin Adkins of Pataskala, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Wanda Hinson of Zephyrhills, Florida; and 14 nephews and nieces.  He leaves multiple friends. 
In addition to his parents, Mr. Arthur Hinson was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Edwin Hinson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m., at Savannah Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Brother Stephen Dickman officiating.  Burial will be in the Denney Family Cemetery at Bidwell, Ohio. 
The family and friends are invited to attend the Thanksgiving banquet in honor of Mr. Hinson to celebrate his unselfish service of the Lord at Savannah Seventh-Day Adventist Fellowship Hall.
