Artice Jones

Artice L. Jones, 92, of Selmer, died Thursday, Jan. 17, at McNairy Regional Hospital, Selmer.

She was the daughter of the late Troy and Cora Srygley. She was united in marriage to William Warren Jones, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Eastview Church of Christ.

Services were held at Shackelford Funeral Directors Selmer on Monday, Jan. 21, with Ben Flatt officiating. Burial followed at Ramer Cemetery.

She is survived by five daughters, Opal Mullins of Walls, Miss., Betty Harville of Pickwick Dam, Pauline Mealer of Selmer, Katie Mullins of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tina Naylor of Memphis; a son, Roy Jones of Jackson, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson.
