Barry Alan Wood (11-13-23) no service date

Barry Alan Wood, 60, of Counce, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Corinth, Mississippi. He was born August 25, 1963, in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, the son of Billy D. and Faye L. Hancock Wood.

Barry was always full of life and the life the party everywhere he went. He was a wonderful cook, enjoyed painting different landscapes, and loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Leslye McMeans of Counce, Sheena Wood of Counce; parents, Billy and Faye Wood of Adamsville; partner, Robbie Michael of Counce; four grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren; half-brother, Bill Wood Jr. of Counce; aunt, Patsy Langley of Ripley, Tennessee; and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Wood.

A memorial service will be held a later date.
