Betty Christopher, 72, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, Nov. 16.

She was born in Morris Chapel, the daughter of the late Johnny and Lillie Wilson. She was united in marriage to Ronnie Christopher, who survives.

Mrs. Christopher retired from Garan Manufacturing where she was a sewing machine operator.

Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with W.D McCollum officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery.

In addition to her husband, Ronnie of Adamsville, she is survived by one son, Dale Alexander of Adamsville; three daughters, Kaye Williams of Tupelo, Miss., Debbie Durham of Counce and Tammy Pettigrew of Savannah; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Tommy Alexander; and one sister, Juanita Baker.
