Bill C. Franklin

Bill C. Franklin was born in Paris, Ark., on April 4, 1939, the son of the late Charley and Fredricka Frances Franklin.

On June 25, 1959, he was united in marriage to Peggy Autry, who survives.

Mr. Franklin was a fabrication engineer for Bolthouse Farms in Bakersfield, Calif. He had also worked for Gold Ribbon Potato Company. Mr. Franklin loved baseball, softball, and golf.

Mr. Franklin departed this life on Friday, Aug. 27, at the age of 71 years, 4 months, 23 days.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard Franklin and his wife Susan of Morris Chapel, Randall Franklin and his wife Sharla of Adamsville; eight grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Jessica, Tawna, Gage, Caleb, Brooke and William; three brothers, Roger Franklin of Pennsylvania, Michael Franklin and Terry Franklin, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Lynn Walters and Sandy Johnson, both of Arvin, Calif.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Killian; two brothers, Henry and Tommy Franklin.
