Billy Davis (6-30-11) services 7-2-11

Billy F. Davis, 78, of Savannah, died Thursday, June 30, in Savannah.

He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Paul C. and Dulcie Davis. He was united in marriage to Frances Christian, who survives.

Mr. Davis owned Davis Bros. Ready-Mix and Block Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Savannah.

Services were held on Saturday, July 2, at First Baptist Church in Savannah with Jim Chamblee and Michael Roach officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to his wife Frances Davis of Savannah, he is survived by a daughter, Marianna Nichols of Adamsville; two sons, Kevin and Robert Davis, both of Savannah; two brothers, Paul C. and Brodie Davis, both of Savannah; and seven grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Smith.
