Billy Ray Smith Billy Ray Smith, 56, of Sanford, Fla., formerly of Saltillo, died Saturday, Jan. 7. He was the son of the late James Earl and Geneva Sloan Smith. He was cremated in Sanford, Fla. His remains will be buried in Milledgeville at a later date. He is survived by his brother Larry and wife Christine Smith; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Sue Strohl.
