Bobby Phillips (5-30-14) service 6-1-14

Bobby Phillips, 58, of Savannah, died Friday, May 30, at Hardin Medical Center. He was born in Hardin County, the son of Marjorie Wood Phillips and the late Bert Phillips.

Mr. Phillips was a retired millworker for Packaging Corporation of America in Counce. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Robert Boyce “Bob” Phillips of Olive Hill; a daughter, Beth Stephens of Savannah; a sister, Gail Fondren of Savannah and a grandchild.

Services were held Sunday, June 1, in Savannah with Helen Hamilton officiating. Burial followed at Ledbetter Cemetery in Adamsville.
