Bobby Tucker (2-14-14) service 2-18-14

Bobby Joe Tucker, 62, of Corinth, Miss., departed this life Friday, Feb. 14. He was born in Mississippi, the son of the late Lester Lafayette and Bonnie Ruth Glover Tucker. He was united in marriage to Teresa Parson Tucker who survives.

He had worked for Tennessee Valley Authority.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Lynn Holloway of San Antonio, Texas, JoJo Gardner of Corinth, Miss., Brandy Moore of Rogersville, Ala., Trista Tucker of Corinth, Miss., and Bobby Joe “B.J” Tucker II of Corinth, Miss.; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Lester “Bud” Tucker Jr. of Corinth, Miss., JD “Jake” Tucker of Lawrenceburg, Betty Whitaker of Iuka, Miss., Ruby Faye “Doly” Burns of Burnsville, Miss., Patricia “Trisha” Barber of Burnsville, Miss., and Nelda King of Booneville, Miss.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary “Tootsie” Marlar.

Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Savannah with Jacinda Byrum and Donnie Waltrip officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Iuka, Miss.
