Bruce Adams Funeral services for Bruce Alan Adams, of Summit, Miss., were held 2 p.m., on Saturday, June 12, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street, Brookhaven, Miss., with burial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, also in Brookhaven. Mr. Adams, 49, died Wednesday, June 9, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer. He was a construction contractor and a member of First Baptist Church in Summit. Preceding him in death was his father, Marshall William Adams of Summit. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy May Bracy Adams; his wife, Lisa Adams of Summit; his sons, Chris Adams and wife Dana of Savannah, and Alan Adams of Summit; his daughters, Stephanie LaMance of Parsons, Tenn., and Gracy Adams of Summit; his stepchildren, Beverly and Aaron of Summit; his children at heart, Chris Colemon and Ryan Johnson, both of Savannah; his grandchildren, Jake and Hunter Adams of Savannah, and Lizzy LaMance of Parsons, Tenn.; his brother, Jason Adams of Summit; his sisters, Marshia Boyd and husband Mike, and Deborah Erwin and husband Bob, all of Summit, and Carmela Renner and husband Robert of Brookhaven.
