C.H. Benson C.H. Benson, 79, of Savannah, died Saturday, Jan. 1. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Ed and Clura Hutton Benson. Mr. Benson retired from Sara Lee in Florence, Ala. Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Walnut Grove Church of Christ with David Highland officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Savannah. He is survived by three daughters, Martha Johnson and Pam White, both of Savannah, and Cindy Gillham of Adamsville; three grandchildren; one brother, Earl Benson. He was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Benson; and one grandchild.
