Charles “Barton” Kittle, 92, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Feb. 6.
He was born in Evansville, Mississippi, the son of the late Harry B. and Mary Phillips Kittle.
Mr. Kittle served six years in the United States Navy Reserve, two years of which were active duty off the east coast. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy C. Kittle; and three brothers, Harry B. Kittle Jr., Frank Kittle and John L. Kittle.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m., at Elmwood Cemetery, 824 S. Dudley Street, Memphis.
