Charles Vickery (12-6-14)

Charles Ray Vickery departed this life on  Saturday, Dec. 6,  at the age of 61 years. He was born on Nov. 15, 1953, son to the late L.V. Vickery and Alene Hampton Vickery Newland. He was united in marriage to Dolores Parkinson Vickery of Counce on Oct. 26, 2011, who survives.
Mr. Vickery was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army as an emergency medical technician. He later worked for several telecommunications companies all over the United States as a contractor in various management positions until retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Larry W. Vickery and one sister, Linda Rossmaier, both of Mobile, Alabama; one nephew, Derek Vickery of Mobile, Alabama; one niece, Holly B. Rossmaier Newingham of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; one aunt, Mary Hampton of Adamsville; and two grandnephews, R.J. Beasley and Ryan Newland, both of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Vickery Osborne; and maternal uncle, L.C. Hampton.
