Charles Williams (4-27-14) service 5-1-14

Charles Francis Williams, 76, of Adamsville, passed away Sunday, April 27. He was a graduate of Southside High School, a veteran of the United States Army and a retired Memphis police officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Flem and Lucille Williams; a sister, Lucille Wilson; three brothers, Flem, Marshall and Joe Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara T. Williams; a daughter, Cindy Dixon (Norman; two sons, Keith Williams and Edward Mason II (Sharon); six grandchildren, Joey Williams, Lindsey Dixon, Alexis, Samantha, Emma and Hunter Mason; a great-grandson, Liam and a sister, Ada Morin.

Services were held Thursday, May 1, in Memphis with internment Saturday, May 3 at Neill Cemetery in Olivet.
