Claudia Stevens Claudia Davis Stevens, 86, of Savannah, died Monday, Nov. 21. She was born in Brewton, Ala., the daughter of the late Willie and Annie Sheffield Davis. She was a member of the East End Methodist Church in Savannah. Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Robert Sadler officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by a daughter, Grace Layton; two sons, Fred Fuqua, Tim Stevens; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Nathan Davis of Brewton, Ala. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Fuqua; her second husband; a son, Edward "Peewee" Fuqua; two grandsons; great-grandson; a sister, Helen Taylor; and a brother, Eugene Davis.
