Coley Davis Coleman "Coley" Davis, 68, of Counce, died Sunday, Jan. 8, in Savannah. He was born in Tishomingo County, Miss., the son of the late Hubert Wesley and Naomi Meeks Davis. He was united in marriage to Violet Janice Swetman, who survives. Mr. Davis worked in the Boat Marina for 22 years at Pickwick Landing State Park. He was a member of Faith Pointe Church. Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Marcus Whitman, Scott Melson officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery at Tishomingo County, Miss. In addition to his wife, Violet of Counce, he is survived by one daughter, Violet Jones of Savannah; two sons, James and Tim Davis, both of Counce; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters, Doris Wilkins of Counce and Nelda Streetman of Rienzi, Miss. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
