Daniel Chase Benson Daniel, infant, the son of Melissa Lawson and Derick Benson, departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 11. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Judy Lawson, Dennis Lawson, Danny Benson and Terry Benson; and his great-grandparents, Bernice Wilkerson, Sue Benson, Max Qualls and Patsy Qualls. Daniel was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob Franks. Services were held on Monday, Aug. 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Glen Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Benson–Tanner Cemetery at Hardin County.
