Danny Wayne McLin, Collinwood, Tenn., was born March 24, 1965, in Savannah, the son of the late Jake and Dorthy Moore McLin. He was united in marriage to Connie Sue Beckham on April 30, 1983.
Mr. McLin was a lumber sawyer and co-owner of S&M Sawmill. He was a Christian and attended Houston Baptist Church, Collinwood, Tenn.
He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn., at the age of 49 years, 4 months, 23 days and is survived by his wife, Connie Sue McLin, Collinwood; a son, Michael Ray McLin and wife Tabitha, St. Joseph, Tenn.; a daughter, Megan Leshea Cummings and husband Preston, Collinwood, Tenn.; grandchildren, Khloe Cummings and Brittney, Aiden and Eli McLin; brothers, Kenny McLin, Olive Hill, Tony McLin, Adamsville, Billy McLin, Savannah; sisters, Helen Beckham and Jane Deshazier, both of Savannah; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McLin was preceded in death by a brother, Jim McLin; and a brother-in-law, Greg Beckham.
Services were Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 1 p.m., at Houston Baptist Church, Collinwood, with Kyle Wishurt, Ricky Nelson and Ken Littrell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
