David Hutton (5-21-18) service 5-25-18

David Hutton, 61, of Lutts, died on Monday, May 21.

He was born in Savannah, the son of Carrien Strange Hutton and the late Arnold Hutton. He was united in marriage to Jean Robbins, who survives.

Mr. Hutton was a member of Church of Christ and was employed with Core Civic as a correctional officer. He had previously worked Hillshire Farms in Florence, Alabama and Wal-Mart in Savannah.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Hutton of Lutts; sons, Justin Dave Hutton and Nicholas Jay Hutton, both of Lutts; mother, Carrien Hutton of Waterloo, Alabama; brothers, Junior Hutton of Michigan, Lonnie Hutton of Oklahoma, Vance Hutton of Double Springs, Alabama, and Ken Hutton of Waterloo, Alabama; and sister, Bonnie Johnson of Colorado.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla Hutton; and his grandparents, Erskin and Mamie Strange, and Jerome and Willie Hutton.

Services were held on Friday, May 25, at Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Savannah with Vance Hutton officiating. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Savannah.
