David Wade Stricklin, 40, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died on Monday, Jan. 3.
He was born in Savannah, the son of Dawn Stricklin Beckham and the late Richard Caperton.
Mr. Stricklin was a manager for Popeyes restaurant.
He is survived by his mother, Dawn Stricklin Beckham of Savannah; grandparents, Nora Lynn and David Scott; brothers, John Beckham and Ronald Stricklin, both of Savannah; and sister, Tonica Beckham of Savannah.
In addition to his father, Richard Caperton, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Stricklin.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Carl Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
