Deborah Morey, 65, of Sardis, died on Saturday, June 26, in Savannah.
She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Clarence and Rachel Ellen Qualls Austin. She was united in marriage to Matthew Morey, who survives.
Mrs. Morey worked as a head cook for Buffalo River Trail Ride.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Lynn Buttrey of Nashville and Christopher Allen Buttrey of Alabama; daughter, Jilleen Stults Buttrey of Sardis; sisters, Sue Martin of Sardis, Elizabeth Lambert of Savannah and Eva Cotner of Counce; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
