Deborah Rice (5-15-10) services 5-19-10

Deborah Rice was born in Hardin County on Jan. 30, 1957, the daughter of Delbert K. and Jo Nell Davis Bain.

On Aug. 15, 1987, she was united in marriage to Dennis Neill Rice of Savannah, who survives.

Mrs. Rice had worked for Southgate Supply as an office secretary for 33 years. She enjoyed cake decorating, flower arranging, cross-stitching and music. She enjoyed serving others and working with the elderly. Mrs. Rice was a lifelong Hardin Countian and a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rice departed this life on Saturday, May 15, at the age of 53 years, 3 months, 15 days.

Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Jo Bain; grandparents, Laden and Edna Reed Davis, Horace and Margaret Godwin Bain.

Services were held on Wednesday, May 19, at 3 p.m., at Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Savannah with Artie Rivers, Jason Estes, Eric Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
