Deborah Smith (11-5-13) service 11-8-13

Deborah J. McCoy Smith, 54 of Granite City, Ill. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Belleville Memorial Hospital. Deborah was born on Jan. 24, 1959 in Savannah, the daughter of the late Louis and Betty J. Blankenship McCoy. She was a longtime saleswoman for McCoy Auto Sales in Granite City, Ill. In her free time she enjoyed watching the Lifetime Channel, playing poker and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for the love shared with her family and the many special times spent together.

She is survived by and will be missed by her son, Bobby Steven Smith of Granite City, Ill.; brother, Louis and (Stephanie) McCoy of Granite City, Ill.; sister, Tammy Tucker of Granite City, Ill.; grandchildren, Zachary and Lakin Smith of Adamsville; nephews, Josh McCoy, Tyler Tucker and nieces, Jamie Walton, Stacy Bush, and April McCoy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Smith. In celebration of her life, visitation was  held on Friday, Nov. 8, at First Baptist Church, 220 Main St. in Saltillo with Pastor Roy White officiating. Burial followed at Lebanon Cemetery in Milledgeville.
