Dennis Haggard, 63, of Savannah died Sunday, Feb. 9, in Savannah. He was born in Hardin County, the son of Mary Ruth Evans Haggard and the late Barney K. Haggard.
Mr. Haggard worked for the Lawrence County Police Department. He was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Miranda Haggard, Marian Devers and Adam Haggard, all of Waynesboro and four grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Haggard.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Savannah with Tony Polk and Shawn and Tammy Hampsey officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hardin County.
