Diane Hicks (2-13-19)
Diane Hicks, 61, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Wilbert Stricklin and Mary Lorine Brown Murphy.
She was of Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, James Adam Hicks, Gregory Lewis Gean, both of Savannah, and Laura Faye Gray of Godfrey, Illinois; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennifer Murphy of Olive Hill and Rebecca Tilley of Savannah; brothers, Andy Stricklin, Wade Stricklin and Daniel Stricklin, all of Waynesboro; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Roger Wayne Hicks; stepfather, J.C. Murphy; brother, James Edward Murphy; grandparents, Elizabeth Brown, Floyd Brown, Glenn Stricklin, and Mollie Stricklin; and three nephews.
