D. L. Garrison, 80, of Stantonville, died on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in Humboldt. Mr. Garrison was the son of the late Dewey L. and Ruby Teuton Garrison. He was a Vietnam veteran with the army.
He is survived by two sisters, Betty Plunk of Stantonville and Mable Turnbow of Atoka; and two brothers, Paul Garrison of Michie and Clyde Garrison of Stantonville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Garrison was preceded in death by a sister, Reba Garrison; and two brothers, Donald Garrison and Wayne Garrison.
Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 14, with Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville.
