Donna Corley (12-12-11)

Donna Corley, 62, of Savannah, died Monday, Dec. 12.

She was born in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of the late Vernon and Doris Poingdexter Atwood. She was united in marriage to George Corley of Savannah, who survives.

Mrs. Corley was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways for a year and had worked as a dietitian with the Cobb County School System in Georgia for 5 years.

In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her daughters, Cindi Roloson of Belvedere, N.J. and Wendi Soulliard of Carisle, Penn.; stepsons, Marcus Corley of Forest Park, Ga. and George Corley Jr. of Griffin, Ga.; nine grandchildren; brothers, Vernon Atwood Jr. and John Atwood both of Belvedere, N.J.

She was also preceded in death by a son and a stepson.
