Dorothy Alexander (4-22-14) service 4-27-14

Dorothy Louise Banks Alexander, 78, of Scotts Hill, died Tuesday, April 22, in Parsons. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Harvey Russell and Mary Sue Hollins Banks.

She retired from Decatur County Manor. She was a member of Living Water Pentecostal Church in Scotts Hill.

She is survived by her children, Michael Ancle Franks of Saltillo, Sharon Diane Rogers of Sardis and Kristi Nicole Ison of Henderson; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jimmie Lois Allegood of Savannah  and Reba Kaye Ralph of Bartlett and two brothers, Danny Banks of Collierville and Donnie Banks of Linden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Darryl Franks, a brother, David Banks and a sister, Teresa Jane Wilkerson.

A graveside service was held Sunday, April 27, at Graham Cemetery in Savannah, with Larry Adair officiating.
