Dorothy Sue Adams Williams departed this life on Sunday, June 14, at Savannah Healthcare Nursing Home at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 26 days.
She was born in Hardin County on Dec. 19, 1931, daughter of the late Marion Eugene and Mamie Ruth Sparks Adams. She was united in marriage to Guy Walker Williams on Dec. 13, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2013.
Dorothy was employed as a line worker at Brown Shoe Company. She had also previously worked for Savannah Button Company. She was a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Dorothy loved sewing, quilting, canning food and cooking. She also enjoyed decorating cakes.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Judith Wilkerson and her husband Daniel, Sandra Moore and her husband Dennis, and Robert Williams and his wife Teresa, all of Savannah; grandchildren, Mindy Williams Cromwell and her husband Brian of Counce, Matthew Williams and his wife Kayla of Medina, Tennessee, and Brandy Wilkerson of Savannah; and great-grandchildren, Kyleigh and Karrson Cromwell.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Robbie Jean Bowling.  
Services were held on Wednesday, June 17, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Becky Wilkes and Ed Bachuss officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
