Doyle Weeks

Doyle Weeks, 77, of Adamsville, died Saturday, April 13, at Hardin Medical Center.

He was son of the late Alfie N. and Mary Harris Weeks. He was united in marriage to Doris Hampton, who survives.

Mr. Weeks was a logger and farmer.

Services were held Tuesday, April 16, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Jimmy Cates, Phil Mitchell and Ronnie Gant officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery, Adamsville. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer.

In addition to his wife, Doris Weeks of Adamsville, he is survived by a son, Randall Weeks of Adamsville; four daughters, Jeanette Duncan, Benice McLain, Melissa Harris, Andrea Williams; two brothers, Waylon of Adamsville and Arvis Weeks of Bethel Springs; three sisters, Virginia Finley, Brenda Pickens, Freeda Bricker; 10 grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Artis Weeks; and three brothers, Welbert, Elvin and Shannon Weeks.
