Edna Cromwell (11-22-18) service 11-25-18

Edna Faye Cromwell, of Adamsville, was born Oct. 14, 1936, in Milledgeville, the daughter of the late Herman D. and Sarah Fannie Rainey Pusser.

She was united in marriage to Jimmie D. Cromwell on Aug. 28, 1971. She was a nurse at McNairy County General Hospital in her younger years. She also worked for General Electric for 17 years. Edna helped take care of her grandbabies, loved spending time with family, and enjoyed camping.

Mrs. Cromwell departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 22, in Adamsville, at the age of 82 years, 1 month, 8 days.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Cromwell; children, Abigial Powers, Randy Smith, Angela Cromwell Whitley (Lee); grandchildren, Myles Smith, Lucas and Karrah Hamm; stepgrandchildren, Grant and Dalton Whitley; a sister, Judy Rogers (Jack).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cromwell was preceded in death by a son, Larry Smith; a grandchild, Roy Vandiver; and a brother, Charles Ray Pusser.

Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 25, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Larry Vandiver officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
