Edward Hassell Jr., 59, of Savannah, died Thursday, May 1, at Hardin Medical Center. He was born in Waynesboro, the son of the late Edward Sr. and Mary Elnora Bailey Hassell.
He was employed as a truck driver.
He is survived by a brother, Billy E. Hassell of San Antonio, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Alice Gardner, Kathrein Clemens and Josephine Pearson.
Services will be held Thursday, May 8, at 11 a.m.at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial will follow at Hassell-Hicks Cemetery in Waynesboro.
