Edward McCasland (8-21-14) service 8-24-14

Edward McCasland, 83, of Savannah, died Thursday, Aug. 21, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County,  the son of the late Edgar Allen and Hester Annie Collins McCasland.
Mr. McCasland retired from Hunter, Smith and Tallent Furniture Store where he did service and repair work. He served his country in the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.
He is survived by one son, Steve McCasland of Savannah; and one daughter, Kay Willis of Savannah; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held on Sunday, Aug. 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tracy Love officiating. Burial followed in the Mountain View Cemetery at Savannah.
