Edward Patterson Edward Lee Patterson, 79, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Jan. 1, in Savannah. He was the son of the late Auther Lee and Hattie Chandler Patterson. He was united in marriage to Montez Jean White, who preceded him in death. Mr. Patterson retired from road construction work. Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Hicks officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh. He is survived by one daughter, Patsy Jean Patterson of Adamsville; one son, Johnny Lee Patterson of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Long of Pensacola, Fla. and Ruth Crawford of Bakersfield, Mo.; and one brother, Tom Patterson of Corinth, Miss. He was also preceded in death by five sisters and brothers.
