Electa Inman Lowrance Watson was born Jan. 2, 1918, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late John Robert and Pardee Johnson Inman. She attended School in Chester County and was married to Ray Moore in 1935; he died in 1938. She was later united in marriage to Herman Lowrance in 1940 and he preceded her in 1983, and in 1988 she was united in marriage to  Mr. Russell Watson for eight years before his death in 1996.
She was employed at Oakley Fashions in Jackson for 27 years retiring in 1980. She had made her home in Beech Bluff and Milledgeville, and most recently in Saltillo for the past 18 years. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting and was a member of the Lebannon United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Watson departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 30, in Henderson, Tenn., at the age of 96 years, 7 months, 28 days.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Johnson and husband Bill of Saltillo; two sons, Jimmy Ray Moore and wife Charlotte of Sewanee, Kan., Larry J. Lowrance and wife Judy of Beech Bluff, Tenn.; a sister, Margie Newcomb of Portage, Ind.; three grandchildren, Martin Lowrance and wife Madison, Scott Moore and wife Brenda, Susan Hoyle and husband Bobby; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by a brother, John Inman. 
Services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tenn., with Rev. Jimmy Dyer officiating. Burial followed in the Big Springs Cemetery at Five Points.
