Emma Lou Prentiss, 84, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Park Rest in Savannah.
She was born on May 9, 1937, to the late Fred and Edith Battles Counce.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Prentiss and Paula Williams (Mike); granddaughter, Hayley Black (James); sister, Mamie Blakney (Lowell); and her nieces, Carol and Angie Blakney.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will gather for a graveside service that will take place at a later date.
