Estelle McFall (12-4-11) services 12-7-11

Estelle McFall, 98, of Savannah, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late George and Lizzie Stricklin. She was united in marriage to Robert McFall, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. McFall was a retired school teacher, she began her teaching career in a one room school in Wayne County. She also taught first grade at Nixon Elementary for many years.

Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Paul Briley officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

She is survived by two daughters, Joann Alexander and Ellen Wallace of Savannah; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
