Evelyn Valentine Evelyn Bigbie Valentine, 95, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Oct. 25. She was born in Olive Hill, the daughter of the late Ernest J. and Ethel Beckham Bigbie. She was married to Donald C. Valentine, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Valentine was a retired medical assistant and a homemaker for many years. Services were held Thursday, Oct. 27, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville, with Father James Guill of St. Andrews Anglican Parish officiating. Burial followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. She is survived by three brothers, C.W. Bigbie of Olive Hill, John and Gene Bigbie, both of Indiana; and two sisters, Faye Hickman of Georgia and Carolyn Phillips of Centerville, Tenn. and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Chance, Mary Emma Sain and Jessie McNeill. The family asks that memorials be sent to the charity of your choice in honor of Mrs. Valentine.
