Garrett Austin Bain (6-15-14) service 6-17-14

Garrett Austin Bain was born in Madison County, Tenn., on June 16, 1996, the son of Carol and Lawanda Smith Bain.
Garrett lived in Hardin County all of his life. He enjoyed farming with his dad and hunting of all types. Garrett enjoyed helping people any time he could. He was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church. Garrett will be missed by many friends and relatives and his Hardin County senior class of 2015.
He departed this life on Sunday, June 15, in Savannah, at the age of 17 years, 11 months and 30 days.
Garrett is survived by his parents, Carol and Lawanda Smith Bain of Savannah; his grandparents, Ray C. (Moose) and Monette Smith of Savannah; and a host of relatives and friends.
Garrett was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Dorothy Bain.
Memorial donations may be made to Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church, 235 Woodrow Lane, Savannah 38372 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis 38105.
Services were held on Tuesday, June 17, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.
