George Elliott (12-4-10) services 12-6-10

George D. Elliott, 88, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Dec. 4, in Adamsville.

He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Robert and Cindy LaRue Elliott. He was united in marriage to Juanita Barnett, who survives.

Mr. Elliott was a famer.

Services were held on Monday, Dec. 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Jai Templeton, Tim Elrod officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Juanita Elliott of Adamsville; he is survived three daughters, Martha Cunningham, Molly McDaniel, Kay Garner, all of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Mary Neal Christopher of Adamsville; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Eddie and Greg Elliott; four sisters, Lexie Nold, Hettie Gray, Donvie Christopher, Billie Moore; two brothers, Charles T. and James T. Elliott.
