Gerald C. Curry (7-15-12) service 7-18-12

Gerald C. Curry, 69, formerly of Corinth, presently of Hardin County, died Sunday, July 15.

He was the son of the late Gordon C. and Mary Almedia Isbell Curry. He was united in marriage to Betty Sue Kennedy, who survives.

Services were held Wednesday, July 18, at 2 p.m., at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial was at Rockhill Apostolic Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Betty; his daughter Jean Scott of Corinth, Miss.; his sons, Gregory of Cairo, Miss. and Gerald Wayne Curry of Birmingham, Ala.; and eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, David of Corinth, Miss. and Harry Curry of Baker, La.

Mr. Curry enjoyed entertaining for nursing homes, churches, benefits and for any family gatherings.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Curry; his grandparents, Grover C. and Nettie Azalee Hinson Curry and Hezzicar and Elizabeth Curtis Isbell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gerald C. Curry Memorial Fund at Commerce National Bank of Corinth.
