Hank Edwards (3-3-10) services 3-5-10

Hillie "Hank" Edwards, 77, of Michie, died Wednesday, March 3, in Memphis.

He was born in Tishomingo County, Miss., the son of the late Elmer and Pearlie Morris Edwards. He was united in marriage to Maude McAfee, who survives.

Mr. Edwards was a logger all of his life.

Services were held Friday, March 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Acton with Bill Wages officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Maude McAfee Edwards of Michie; two sons, Danny and Mike Edwards, both of Michie; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jewel Edwards of Okla., Tommy Rushing of Selmer, and Ruth McCoy of Okolona, Miss.
