Helen Juanita White, 90, of Savannah, died Tuesday, July 29, in Savannah.
She was born in Alabama, the daughter of the late Esley Andrew and Bessie Lee Mancell Craven. She was united in marriage to Warren David White, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. White worked at Hardin Medical Center Nursing Home as a nurses’ aide and worked in housekeeping. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Rickey Earl White of Savannah; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Jay Craven of Arizona and Arnie Jay Craven of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Captola Buroughs of Pine, Ariz.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Loretto Fay Stricklin; two sons, Charles Wayne White and Burl Andrew White; one grandchild; and three brothers, Doyle, Larry and Horace Craven.
Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 2, at New Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Savannah with Carl Copeland and Benny Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Hollands Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
